Communication Department Upgrades CNU Intramurals 2019

Students under the Department of Communication and Media Studies offer an upgraded Intramurals coverage this year.

The Junior Broadcasters’ Alliance (JBA), an organization under the department, holds their annual coverage for Intramurals with the theme: Breaking Barriers and Achieving Excellence through Sports.

JBA offers radio broadcasting, television newscasting, and facebook live to give updates on the week-long celebration of this year’s Intramurals.

Cebu Normal University’s Communication students showcase their passion as they volunteer themselves to be part of the live coverage.

Harold Regodos, JBA’s Mayor and a 2nd year Broadcast Journalism student, shares his insights and preparations for the coverage.

“From the day I was elected as the new Mayor of JBA, I was able to think on what will be our new event or upgrade for this year’s coverage and we ended up on our page’s Facebook live. And for the preparation, we took a week in order to be ready on this year’s live coverage,” he said.

Meanwhile, Aninag, the official publication of the department, is also taking its part to offer a concrete coverage of the celebration as its writers strive to publish newsletters every day, featuring each day’s highlights.
